Every year, 5-7 million animals worldwide are placed in shelters designated for homeless animals.
However, each year, 3-4 million homeless dogs and cats are still destroyed.

The IDEA (International Dialogue for Environmental Action) campaign, which has made creating a regional and international network for environmental protection one of its main goals, urges people worldwide to be more attentive to the conservation of plant and animal species.

The main goal of the Azerbaijan Animal Rescue Center, operating in Azerbaijan since 2009, is precisely to assist in this path and carry out educational work. This clinic for animals operates with the support of Leyla Aliyeva, Vice President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and initiator of the IDEA Campaign. The modern equipment and professional staff here distinguish the clinic with its uniqueness in the post-Soviet space.
