The IDEA campaign represented Azerbaijan at the UN's "Youth 21: Global Youth Leadership Forum for Change."

The IDEA (International Dialogue for Environmental Action) campaign, initiated on July 12, 2011, by Leyla Aliyeva, Vice President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, represented Azerbaijan at the "Youth 21: Global Youth Leadership Forum for Change," held in Nairobi, Kenya, with the support of the United Nations.
The forum, which began with the reading of a letter from UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon to the participants, took place from March 15 to 18 in Nairobi, the capital of Kenya.
It should be noted that, as part of the Azerbaijani delegation, the representative of the IDEA campaign gave a presentation at the panel dedicated to "Youth Leadership in Sustainable Development," providing extensive information about the campaign and sharing their experiences on the topic with the forum participants.
During the panel discussions, topics included the role of youth in shaping government policies, providing leasing opportunities to young entrepreneurs in the green economy, the role of specialized education programs in creating jobs at the local community level, the use of new methods to raise awareness about sustainable development among youth, the role of flash mobs, and the importance of educational reforms in schools to improve environmental education.
During the forum, opportunities for cooperation between the IDEA campaign and representatives of organizations from various countries were discussed, and an agreement was reached to unite efforts in the future to address international environmental challenges worldwide.
