The IDEA campaign organized an educational tour to the Baku Balakhani Solid Municipal Waste Incineration Plant.

IDEA (International Dialogue for Environmental Protection), which implements numerous projects in our country in the field of environmental care and ecological awareness, organized an educational tour to the Balakhani Solid Municipal Waste Incineration Plant in connection with "Recycling Day," celebrated worldwide on November 15 each year.
The main purpose of organizing the tour was to inform young people annually about the management of waste generated by human activities as well as various industrial and production sectors, the stages of its recycling, and at the same time, to foster and develop ecological thinking in them. This, in turn, makes a significant contribution to the field of ecological awareness.
In addition, the objectives of the educational tour included providing young people with extensive information about ecological projects carried out in our country, helping to increase their knowledge and skills in the ecological field, and ensuring the effective use of their time.
Following hygienic rules, special clothing was provided to the tour participants entering the plant. During the seminar, an expert from the Balakhani Solid Municipal Waste Incineration Plant gave participants detailed information about the stages of the waste incineration and energy conversion process, explained the importance and scale of waste management, and answered questions of interest to them.
