The opening ceremony of the Resource Center at the State Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan was held within the framework of the IDEA (International Dialogue for Environmental Protection) campaign, initiated by Leyla Aliyeva, Vice President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation.

The ceremony was attended by Leyla Aliyeva, Vice President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and initiator of the IDEA campaign, state and government officials, the leadership of the Academy, and students.

Leyla Aliyeva cut the ribbon symbolizing the official opening of the Resource Center.

During her visit to the Resource Center, Leyla Aliyeva was informed that modern technologies, as well as necessary electronic and scientific tools, have been made available here. The center will not only expand students’ educational opportunities but also provide a space to think about the future of our planet, exchange ideas, and acquire essential knowledge.

It was emphasized that the Resource Center will make a significant contribution to the effective organization of young people’s leisure time, help them choose new areas of activity, and allow them to step into their future professional life with a different perspective.

From an early age, people should acquire knowledge about the environment and establish their own rules of conduct. At the same time, engaging young people in scientific research related to the environment, organizing various trainings, holding discussion-based meetings, and carrying out educational activities are among the main tasks of the Center.

Our planet has limited resources, and we must seek ways to use them optimally and contribute to raising global awareness on this issue.

In essence, the IDEA campaign has transcended national boundaries and taken on a global character. The environment knows no borders, and any step taken within national boundaries affects the future of humanity.

The campaign, guided by the concept of “sustainable development,” sounds an alarm about the necessity of ensuring harmony between development and the environment. The current characteristics of development should not harm future generations’ ability to meet their own needs.

After closely examining the facilities created at the center, Leyla Aliyeva wished success to the staff of the Academy.
