The IDEA campaign has launched the implementation of the "IDEA Lectures" project.

On July 11, 2011, the IDEA (International Dialogue for Environmental Action) campaign, initiated by Leyla Aliyeva, Vice President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, began implementing a project aimed at organizing lectures on ecology and sustainable development in educational institutions of Azerbaijan.
The first lecture of the project was held at the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan. The lecturer, Professor Randal Baker from Indiana University, USA, delivered a lecture to the students of the Academy of Public Administration on the issues of science and sustainable development.
Urkhan Alakbarov, the Rector of the Academy, who attended the lecture, highly appreciated the initiative of the IDEA campaign and expressed his gratitude to the Academy’s Student Youth Organization, which contributed to the event, as well as to the lecturer, Professor Randal Baker.
The final part of the lecture was conducted in an interactive question-and-answer format and was received with particular interest by the students. It should be noted that, within the framework of the project, the IDEA campaign plans to hold similar lectures at other universities in Azerbaijan.
