The IDEA campaign was represented at the International Ecological Forum in Lithuania.

The IDEA (International Dialogue for Environmental Protection) campaign is represented at the international ecological forum held in Lithuania as the next step of its international activities.

The traditional forum held in Druskininkai, Lithuania, focused on the topic of “Waste Management.”

At the forum, experiences of governments and NGOs in Europe in the field of waste management, as well as the role of youth in these processes, were exchanged and discussed.

The representative of IDEA delivered a presentation about the campaign to the participants and contributed to the discussions within the thematic areas of the forum.

Alongside the IDEA campaign, a representative of “Clean City” JSC from our country informed the participants about the successful state policies and projects implemented in Baku regarding waste management.

In addition, under the organization of the Lithuanian office of the campaign, representatives of ecological organizations representing Lithuania and Azerbaijan discussed the prospects and main directions for future cooperation.

It should be noted that, for the first time this year, Azerbaijan is participating in the mentioned international forum with the support of the IDEA campaign and the Embassy of Azerbaijan in Lithuania.
