In connection with "Animal Rescue Day," celebrated in many countries around the world on October 4 each year, IDEA (International Dialogue for Environmental Protection) organized a visit for schoolchildren to the Azerbaijan Animal Rescue Center.

The main purpose of the visit, attended by more than 30 schoolchildren, was to draw students’ attention to the care of homeless animals, encourage them to act sensitively toward nature and animals, and, most importantly, to ensure that young people make a joint effort to help sick animals return to their natural habitat.

During the visit to the Azerbaijan Animal Rescue Center, whose main activities include monitoring homeless animals and contributing to the development of a culture of animal care in our country, schoolchildren became closely acquainted with the Center’s operations and principles, and received more detailed information about the treatment of animals placed in the clinic and undergoing special veterinary examinations.

The IDEA campaign and the Azerbaijan Animal Rescue Center (AARC) constantly call on young people to care for and protect homeless animals. To this end, the IDEA campaign, which regularly implements numerous projects in our country related to environmental awareness and care for nature, organizes schoolchildren’s visits to the Center on a regular basis.
