The IDEA campaign held an event dedicated to the International Day for the Elimination of Nuclear Weapons.

As part of the "IDEA Lectures" project, the IDEA (International Dialogue for Environmental Action) campaign organized a lecture on Monday in observance of the International Day for the Elimination of Nuclear Weapons. The lecture took place at the Resource Center of the IDEA campaign, located at the Academy of Public Administration under the President of Azerbaijan.
Twenty students from various educational institutions attended the lecture. During the event, the youth were provided with general information about nuclear weapons, the current risks associated with their use, and the potential consequences they may cause. The lecture was delivered by Candidate of Chemical Sciences Elkhan Amirbeyov.
The project was conducted interactively. Amirbeyov divided the students into groups and assigned them various tasks. The students presented 5-minute presentations addressing the given problems. In the final stage of the project, a jury composed of representatives from the IDEA campaign evaluated the students' presentations and awarded the most active participants with prizes.
