IDEA awarded young people who successfully completed the “Landscape” course

Within the framework of the “Youth Education Program” of the IDEA Public Union, the “Landscape” courses, which started on September 9, have been successfully completed. Nearly 30 young people who successfully completed the course were awarded certificates and gifts by IDEA.

It should be noted that the main purpose of organizing the landscape course was to create harmony between humans and nature, highlight the beauty of nature, as well as promote the proper implementation of greening activities and the establishment of aesthetic connections between environmental components.

The courses were held over a period of two months at the Resource Centers of the IDEA Public Union located at the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan and at the Zira Cultural Center.

Among nearly 500 registered applicants, 30 young people were selected and, within the mentioned course, deepened their knowledge and skills on important topics such as the classification of landscapes, the history of landscape architecture, the duties of a landscape architect, landscape design, organic farming and its importance, and other significant subjects.

IDEA regularly organizes trainings, seminars, environmental-themed films, discussion clubs, round tables, competitions, and other activities every month with the aim of increasing the environmental knowledge of young people studying in the fields of environment and sustainable development, directing their attention to solving environmental problems, and helping them observe a specialist approach to important environmental topics.
