The textbook “Ecological Management,” under the editorship of Leyla Aliyeva, founder and head of IDEA, has been published.

On May 27, a presentation for the public of the two-volume textbook “Ecological Management,” edited by Leyla Aliyeva, Vice President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and founder and head of IDEA Public Union, and published with the support of IDEA Public Union and the Heydar Aliyev Center, took place.
The book serves as a useful textbook for students studying environmental protection, ecology, and sustainable development, and also holds special significance as a reference book for professionals working in these fields.
In addition to covering the fundamentals of general ecology, the “Ecological Management” book addresses important topics such as biocenoses, ecosystems, matter cycles, ecological factors, the living world, global environmental issues, the environment and human health, ecological principles of nature conservation, legal foundations for environmental quality protection, and the modern strategy of society-nature relations.
The presentation at the Heydar Aliyev Center was attended by representatives of various government agencies, students and faculty from higher education institutions, as well as members of private companies and civil society.
Speakers at the event noted that the “Ecological Management” book, prepared in Azerbaijani, is significant for students and professionals in the environmental field as it provides an introduction to advanced global practices.
At the end of the event, participants were given copies of the “Ecological Management” textbook.
