Leyla Aliyeva addressed the participants of the ASAIF Budapest Forum.

Vice President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and Chairperson of the Azerbaijani Youth Organization in Russia, Leyla Aliyeva, addressed the participants of the ASAIF Budapest Forum.
The address reads:
“Dear Forum Participants! Dear young people!
I greet you at the Forum of Azerbaijani Youth Studying Abroad and Alumni, held in one of Europe’s most beautiful and magnificent parliaments, and sincerely congratulate you on this day of unity. I wish each of you success in your studies and in all your efforts for the sake of Azerbaijan. The discussion of Azerbaijan’s realities in Europe’s political institutions at the initiative of young people, as well as our students exchanging views on the present and future of Azerbaijan, is of great importance for the recognition of our country abroad.
One of the main responsibilities of our youth living and studying abroad is to promote our homeland Azerbaijan at the highest level and to act in a spirit of cooperation. Naturally, this requires initiative, correct goal-setting, and a modern way of thinking from you. The involvement of new forces is particularly important for the formation and strengthening of Azerbaijani youth organizations operating worldwide.
Close cooperation with local and international organizations and media in the countries where you live and study, and your active participation in the socio-political life of those countries, will soon turn into a success for our diaspora activities. In this regard, I am confident that the Budapest Forum, the second international meeting of ASAIF, will provide an excellent opportunity for the establishment of friendship and professional connections.
During our time abroad, preserving the name of our homeland, representing our country with dignity, and maintaining Azerbaijan’s high image globally must become our main purpose. I hope that, regardless of the countries in which you live and study, you will not forget our national culture, values, language, religion, ancestry, and traditions, and that you will do everything possible for the strengthening of our country. I wish you and the Azerbaijani youth you represent courage, solidarity, and success on this path.”
