Leyla Aliyeva familiarized herself with environmental protection and biodiversity conservation efforts in Australia’s national parks.

During her visit to Australia, Vice-President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, founder and head of IDEA (International Dialogue for Environmental Action) Public Union Leyla Aliyeva held a series of meetings on environmental protection and biodiversity conservation. Visiting several of the country’s renowned national parks, Leyla Aliyeva gained firsthand insight into Australia’s rich biodiversity.
During her visits to animal breeding centers, Leyla Aliyeva received extensive information about endangered animals, the methods applied for their restoration, measures to increase their populations, as well as advanced technologies used in this field.
The Vice-President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, Leyla Aliyeva, also shared information about endangered animals in Azerbaijan and the activities carried out by the IDEA Public Union to address this issue.
Noting that Azerbaijan cooperates with several international organizations on the protection of endangered species, Leyla Aliyeva emphasized the importance of exchanging experiences between Azerbaijan and Australia in the field of animal and biodiversity conservation.
