The next courtyard, landscaped within the framework of the “Our Yard” project with the participation of Leyla Aliyeva, has been opened for residents' use.

On April 14, within the framework of the "Our Yard" project organized by the IDEA Public Union and supported by the district executive authorities of Baku city, a renovated yard was handed over for use by residents. The newly updated yard is located in the Garadagh district, Lokbatan settlement, Intiqam Nabiyev Street, in a neighborhood where more than 4,000 residents live.

Leyla Aliyeva, Vice President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, founder and head of the IDEA Public Union, participated in the opening of the yard, including the mass tree planting event held during the ceremony.

The main goal of the "Our Yard" project is to model ecologically clean and well-maintained yards, restore greenery, promote a healthy lifestyle, and create safe and comfortable living conditions for residents.

With the support of the Garadagh District Executive Authority, in the yard renovated within the "Our Yard" project and covering an area of 2 hectares, entertainment equipment has been installed to facilitate the movement of people with disabilities and limited health abilities, as well as to provide favorable conditions for the development of children of all age groups. A small playground consisting of a football field and sports equipment has been established. The primary aim of creating such playgrounds is to encourage young people to lead a healthy lifestyle, strengthen their health, spend their leisure time effectively, and develop a reflex for systematic sports practice. Additionally, a special area has been created in the yard for walking animals.

Taking into account the wishes and interests of the residents, the facades and entrance areas of the multi-apartment buildings have also been fully renovated and handed over for use. Alongside the restoration of existing greenery in the yard, approximately 500 additional trees and shrubs have been planted.

It should be noted that the "Our Yard" project was initiated by Leyla Aliyeva, Vice President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and founder and head of the IDEA Public Union. The yard in the Lokbatan settlement is the third yard renovated and handed over to residents within the framework of the project.

The project is planned to be implemented in all districts of Baku. In this regard, information and recommendations about yards in our capital that require renovation are requested to be submitted to the IDEA Public Union.
