A new public beach in Hövsan has been opened for residents at the initiative of Leyla Aliyeva.

The new model public beach established in the Hövsan settlement of Surakhani District at the initiative of Leyla Aliyeva, Vice-President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and Founder and Head of IDEA Public Association, has been opened for public use. Covering approximately 5 hectares, this free recreational area is the seventh model public beach created by IDEA Public Association.
To ensure a comfortable and safe experience for visitors, the beach has been equipped with rescue stations of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, shaded areas, changing and shower cabins, sanitary facilities, gazebos, sun loungers, and waste containers. Playgrounds have also been installed, and all facilities are fully ready for use.
To ensure accessibility for persons with disabilities, special pathways and ramps have been constructed to allow people with limited mobility to reach the sea and beach facilities without obstacles. The parking space closest to the beach area has also been specially designated and marked for persons with disabilities.
Access to the beach and all facilities provided there is completely free of charge. IDEA’s model public beaches are aimed at promoting environmental and social responsibility within society.
It should be noted that, at Leyla Aliyeva’s initiative, neglected coastal areas in the settlements of Shikh, Goradil, Novkhani, Buzovna, Pirshaghi, and Sahil were previously landscaped and transformed into model public beaches. With the opening of the new beach in Hövsan, their total number has reached seven.
IDEA Public Association wishes everyone an enjoyable seaside season and calls on the public to keep coastal areas clean, avoid polluting the environment, observe water safety rules, and exercise caution while relaxing, so that everyone can continue to enjoy the beauty of nature and the facilities provided
