Leyla Aliyeva has been presented with a UN certificate and a special ID.

On November 22, Leyla Aliyeva, Vice-President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, met at the Foundation with a delegation led by Fikrat Akchura, the UN Resident Coordinator in Azerbaijan.

At the meeting, Fikrat Akchura presented Leyla Aliyeva with the UN certificate and the special ID.

Leyla Aliyeva was appointed as the director of the project “Mobilization of Azerbaijani Youth for the Preparation of the Rio+20 Summit in 2012,” launched jointly by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and the UN Development Programme.

The certificate from the world’s most prestigious international organization was awarded to Leyla Aliyeva in recognition of her ideas and initiatives aimed at addressing environmental problems, climate change, catastrophes, and the consequences of natural disasters globally.
