"Learn to Love Forests!" - Aghdash district

On April 21, on the eve of International Earth Day, awareness trainings on the importance of forests were held for the schoolchildren of Dəhnəxəlil village of the Agdash district.
The program consisted of a seminar, a tree-planting campaign, and a trip to the Türyançay State Nature Reserve, known for the sparse arid forests covering the Bozdağ range, as well as various plant and animal species listed in the Red Book.
The event was organized within the framework of a joint project by IDEA, the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources, and the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) aimed at implementing an awareness campaign on the socio-economic and ecological benefits of forests.
