"Learn to Love Forests!" - Qakh District

On April 29, another educational event for schoolchildren about the importance of forests was held. The program organized in the village of Qum in the Gakh district included a seminar on the forest and its inhabitants, a tree-planting campaign, and a trip to the forest area of Qum village with ecological practical activities and experiments conducted there.

The activities were organized within the framework of the awareness component on the socio-economic and ecological benefits of forests of a joint project by IDEA, the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources, and the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) of the UN on the development of the forest sector.
