The principles put forward at the international camp held in Gabala under the motto “The Role of Youth in Ecological Governance: Today and Tomorrow” should be accepted worldwide.

Omar Faruk, director of the UK organization “EcoMuslim,” noted this in an interview regarding the camp.

Faruk stated that the IDEA campaign (International Dialogue for Environmental Action), founded by Leyla Aliyeva, which brings together young ecologists from around the world in Gabala, is a very significant initiative.
“I am very pleased to participate here myself and feel honored. We invite Leyla Aliyeva to our country to share this experience and to speak at the House of Lords of the UK Parliament,” the organization director said.

Elizabeth Visherhed, a scholar at the Cooperative Institute for Environmental Studies at the University of Colorado, USA, also highly praised Leyla Aliyeva’s work, noting that she demonstrates highly capable leadership qualities.

“I am a climate change specialist. I came here to engage with young people. I met with some of them. Azerbaijani youth have a very high intellectual potential. This impressed me,” Visherhed emphasized.
She noted that environmental protection issues are extremely relevant in today’s world and expressed confidence that Leyla Aliyeva’s initiative will yield very successful results.

Lisa Bardwell, president and executive director of the US organization “Earth Force,” stated that the international camp held in Gabala would further encourage youth collaboration in solving environmental problems.
Bardwell praised the engagement of young people in projects aimed at addressing ecological issues and expressed gratitude to Leyla Aliyeva for the high level of organization of the camp.

“I applaud Leyla Aliyeva’s noble initiative, which is aimed at ensuring a clean and safe future. In our modern world, facing environmental challenges, the promotion of such initiatives is very important. Engaging youth in this process is highly commendable. I am confident that this camp, which will promote youth activity in environmental work, will achieve successful results,” the organization director stated.

Bardwell emphasized that Leyla Aliyeva is a very energetic woman who works diligently to achieve her goals and expressed confidence that she will continue such noble work in the future.
