The documentary film “Birds’ Paradise – Aghgol National Park” has won an award at a prestigious competition held in Russia.

On June 17, the XIX International Ecological Television Festival “Rescue and Protect” concluded in Khanty-Mansiysk, Russia. The documentary film “Birds’ Paradise – Aghgol National Park,” directed by Igor Bishnyov at the initiative of the IDEA Public Union, was awarded the “Television Project of the Year” prize within the framework of the festival.

“Birds’ Paradise – Aghgol National Park” is the second film produced under the “Nine Wonders of Azerbaijan” project, implemented at the initiative of Leyla Aliyeva, founder and head of the IDEA Public Union. In 2014, within the same initiative, a documentary of the same name dedicated to Shirvan National Park was filmed and presented to the public. The IDEA Public Union plans to produce a total of nine films under the “Nine Wonders of Azerbaijan” project, showcasing the beauty of the country’s nine national parks.

It should be noted that the premiere of the documentary film “Birds’ Paradise – Aghgol National Park” took place on April 24 in Baku, at the Nizami Cinema House.
