New bison were brought to Shahdag National Park

In October, following the release of the first group of bison from the acclimatization zone into the wild, nine more animals were brought to Azerbaijan and placed in Shahdag National Park to adapt. The project partners, IDEA Public Union, the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources, and WWF-Azerbaijan, continue their efforts to restore the fauna of the Greater Caucasus mountains and extend their deep gratitude to everyone supporting and monitoring the return of this magnificent animal species to our nature.
