The ecological competition titled “Cheerful Beavers” has been launched.

The IDEA Public Association, founded and led by Leyla Aliyeva, Vice President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, announces an ecological competition called “Cheerful Lynxes” for children. Within the framework of the competition, young participants will be able to send photos of themselves dressed in costumes depicting lynxes and other feline species to IDEA PA.
The main goal of the project is to cultivate and develop a love for lynxes, and fauna in general, in children from an early age, to inform them about the lifestyle and habitats of this rare species, and to emphasize the importance of lynx conservation.
According to the competition rules, photos can be taken in any format, using either a professional camera or a phone. Submitted photos must be taken specifically for this competition. One author may submit a maximum of two photos. Children can also paint on their faces to create a more complete depiction of the animals. The competition is intended for children up to 15 years old. Photos that do not meet the competition requirements will be excluded from the contest.
The competition jury will select the three best and most creative winning photos from the submissions. Winning photos will be awarded valuable prizes.
Anyone wishing to participate in the competition must send their photo under the subject “Cheerful Lynxes” to the email address [[email protected]](mailto:[email protected]) no later than January 15, 2015. Authors must include in the email, along with the photo, their name, surname, and contact information in a free-text format.
