“The Cheerful Martens” Has Been Awarded.

The ecological contest titled “The Cheerful Martens,” launched by the IDEA Public Union on November 3, has concluded. Nearly 50 children participating in the contest submitted photos to IDEA PU showing themselves in costumes depicting martens and other feline-like animals.

The contest jury selected the three best and most creative photos from among the numerous entries and declared them the winners. The winners were awarded valuable prizes by IDEA PU.

During the award ceremony, the winners stated that while preparing for the contest, they had acquired extensive information about martens, including the lifestyle, habitats, and other characteristics of this rare animal species. It was noted that this knowledge played a special role in the creation of the marten costumes.

The project, which was met with great interest by the children, aimed to introduce the marten, one of the rare animal species of the Caucasus region, and to encourage the younger generation to protect our biodiversity.
