On March 11, within the framework of the “Laboratory for Children” project jointly implemented by the IDEA Public Union and the “Sevimli Bala” organization, the next training session was held.

Organized on the eve of spring and the Novruz holiday, the training was dedicated to the awakening of nature, the blossoming of plants, the revival observed in the animal world, and other natural phenomena characteristic of the spring season.

Young nature enthusiasts were provided with extensive information on the process of photosynthesis in plants, houseplants and their care, the internal and external structure of flowers, seed germination, and the benefits of plants to humans – including fruit trees and medicinal plants – and were given the opportunity to get hands-on familiarization with various flowers and blossoms.

During the training, children also participated in planting sprouted wheat (saman), a symbol of the Novruz holiday, the natural preparation of fragrances from flowers, and various interesting games.

At the end of the training, colorful flowers were planted together with the “young ecologists,” and the rules for caring for the plants were explained.

The March laboratory not only helped children form an understanding of nature’s revival but also contributed to their early familiarization with our national customs and traditions.
