Within the framework of the “Ecological Laboratory for Children,” the next training session was held.

On December 19, within the framework of the “Ecological Laboratory for Children” project jointly implemented by IDEA Public Union and the “Sevimli Bala” organization, the twelfth training session was held at IDEA’s Resource Center located at the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
The December laboratory was dedicated to “The Earth and the New Year,” and accordingly, during the training, the “young ecologists” were provided with extensive information about our planet, the internal layers of the Earth, natural processes occurring on the Earth’s surface such as volcanoes and earthquakes, as well as methods for preparing and decorating a New Year tree without harming the environment.
During the training, children participated in a series of laboratory experiments and created “artworks” related to the “New Year” theme using various materials.
The December laboratory not only offered children an interesting and entertaining day but was also significant in terms of providing them with geological knowledge from an early age.
At the end of the training, IDEA Public Union and the “Sevimli Bala” organization presented special New Year gifts to the participants.
It should be noted that, since its launch in January 2015, the “Ecological Laboratory for Children” project has regularly conducted training sessions every month covering various ecological topics such as climate change and global warming, “green city,” waste and its recycling, seasons and trees, atmospheric pollution, environmentally friendly and healthy food, water properties and its conservation, energy and energy saving, animals and their care, and throughout the year, more than 200 children have visited our laboratory.
