“Ecological Laboratory for Children” Project – December Training

On December 24, within the framework of the “Ecological Laboratory for Children” project jointly implemented by IDEA Public Union and the “Sevimli Bala” organization, the next training session was held.

The December training of the Laboratory, aimed at increasing children’s knowledge about the environment, was dedicated to the topics of waste reduction, recycling, and reuse.

During the training, held on the eve of the New Year, children were shown ways to prepare and decorate a New Year tree without harming nature, the process of waste and its recycling, and the importance of this process for our planet, especially for living beings. During the session, young nature enthusiasts participated in fun games and knowledge competitions, as well as a series of practical exercises.

At the end of the training, IDEA Public Union presented New Year gifts to the young ecologists.

It should be noted that the “Ecological Laboratory for Children” training, carried out since January 2015, is not only aimed at providing children with an interesting and entertaining day but is also important for giving them ecological knowledge from a young age. It should also be noted that, within the framework of the project, monthly trainings regularly cover various ecological topics such as climate change and global warming, “green city,” waste and its recycling, the seasons and trees, air pollution, eco-friendly and healthy food, water properties and its conservation, energy and energy saving, animals and their care. In total, nearly 2,000 children have been guests of the ecological laboratory.
