Within the framework of the “Laboratory for Children” project, another training session has been held.

On August 15, within the framework of the “Ecological Laboratory for Children”, a joint project of IDEA Public Association and the “Sevimli Bala” organization, another training session dedicated to the topic of waste and its recycling was held for children aged 6–12 at the Resource Center of IDEA Public Association located at the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
During the training, children were provided with information about waste and the recycling process, as well as the importance of this process for our Planet, especially for the living world. The “young ecologists” also became familiar with ways of sorting, reducing, and reusing waste.
In addition, young nature lovers took part in entertaining knowledge competitions and various experiments, and learned how to create environmentally friendly new items from used materials by making their own birdhouses from milk cartons and plastic bottles. Later, the backpack produced by IDEA through recycling plastic bottles and demonstrated to the participants of the “Eco Laboratory” attracted great interest from both parents and children.
The August laboratory, which was the eighth training session organized through the joint cooperation of IDEA Public Association and the “Sevimli Bala” organization, not only provided children with an interesting and enjoyable day, but also made a significant contribution to helping them learn from an early age about waste reduction and recycling processes, which are considered important factors in environmental protection. Those who wish to participate in the “Ecological Laboratory for Children” to be organized at the Resource Center of IDEA Public Association located at the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan are kindly requested to contact IDEA Public Association at (497-63-16).
