Within the framework of the “Laboratory for Children” project, the next training session was held.

On June 6, within the framework of the joint project of IDEA Public Union and the “Sevimli Bala” organization, “Ecological Laboratory for Children,” the next training dedicated to the topic of “green city,” waste, and its reuse was held at the Resource Center of IDEA Public Union, located at the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, for children aged 5-8.

During the training, children were explained the environmental harm caused by cars and the advantages of using environmentally friendly vehicles, including bicycles. In addition, extensive information was provided about the world’s environmentally clean and polluted cities. The “little ecologists” also became familiar with ways to reduce and reuse waste and build a “sustainable city” to keep the environment clean.

Furthermore, young nature enthusiasts participated in fun knowledge competitions and various contests, conducted several laboratory experiments, observed the waste recycling process, and created art pieces from waste materials.

The June laboratory, the sixth training organized through the collaboration of IDEA Public Union and the “Sevimli Bala” organization, not only provided children with an interesting and entertaining day but also proved useful in helping them understand the concept of a “sustainable city” from an early age.
