“Green Marathon” framework ضمن tree saplings were distributed in Shamkir

At the initiative of Leyla Aliyeva, Vice-President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and founder and head of the IDEA Public Union, tree seedlings were distributed to the population in Shamkir as part of the “National Greening Marathon” (“Green Marathon”).

On April 10, with the joint organization of the IDEA Public Union, the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources, and the BRAVO supermarket chain, tree seedlings were presented to customers visiting the BRAVO hypermarket in Shamkir.

During the event, in addition to distributing the seedlings, citizens were also explained the proper methods of planting, watering, and caring for trees.

It should be noted that the main goal of the “Green Marathon” project is to increase green spaces, promote tree planting, contribute to environmental protection, including enhancing the country’s flora biodiversity, and raise awareness about the preservation of greenery. The project aims to plant nearly 1 million trees during the planting season and increase green areas.
