Within the framework of the “Green Conversation Club” project, the next meeting was held.

IDEA Public Union, which implements large-scale projects to engage youth in ecological issues, contribute to environmental protection, and participate in combating ecological problems, held the next meeting within the framework of the “Green Conversation Club” project.
The meeting took place on October 6 at the Resource Center of IDEA Public Union, located at the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, with the participation of about 30 volunteers.
In connection with World Food Day, this time the Club’s topic was dedicated to composting, and a detailed presentation on the topic was given by a special guest, Kelly Tillett, from the U.S. Embassy in Azerbaijan. Afterwards, the youth watched short videos about composting, shared their impressions, learned and discussed how to prepare natural fertilizer at home using food waste.
IDEA Public Union launched the Green Conversation Club project in June 2012 with the aim of improving young ecologists’ knowledge about the environment and their foreign language (English) skills. From the very first day, the Green Conversation Club has been a comfortable educational space where students and young specialists studying in the fields of environment and sustainable development can converse in English.
We invite individuals who want to develop both their ecological and English language knowledge simultaneously to join the Green Conversation Club, which will be dedicated to different environmental topics each month.
