The Ministry of Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the IDEA Public Union, and the "Bir" Student-Volunteer Program have initiated the implementation of the "Spring Yard" project aimed at greening the schoolyards. Within the framework of the project, students will plant trees in schools, take care of the plants, carry out community work in the schoolyards, and perform other landscaping activities. In addition, each educational institution participating in the project will be provided with special birdhouses by the IDEA Public Union.

The "Spring Yard" project will cover 15 higher education institutions and 26 secondary schools in Baku, Ganja, and Sumqayit. This initiative will not only positively impact the ecological condition of educational institutions and the health of students but also contribute to deepening the ecological knowledge of schoolchildren and students and fostering a caring attitude toward nature.

Within the project, which will take place from April 12 to May 1, cleaning of schoolyards, planting greenery, lime treatment of tree trunks, and other activities are planned. At the conclusion of the project, winners will be determined and awarded by the Ministry of Education, the IDEA Public Union, and the "Bir" Student-Volunteer Program.
