Within the framework of the bison reintroduction project, 10 more bison have been brought to Azerbaijan.

Today, within the framework of the bison reintroduction project implemented by the IDEA Public Union, the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources, and the WWF Azerbaijan Representation, 10 more bison have been brought to Azerbaijan.

With the additional 10 bison brought from Germany's “Tierpark Berlin” zoo, the current number of bison in the Ismayilli section of Shahdag National Park is 41.

The project is planned to continue until 2028, with the number of bison expected to reach 100.
