Gızılagac National Park
A medium-sized water bird belonging to the Egret family of the Storkidae family of the bird class. It is a migratory bird in Europe. It is found around still or slow-flowing water bodies, in river valleys, shallow lakes, and swamps.
It is similar in appearance to the Great Egret, but differs in its smaller size, longer feathers on its neck and chest, and the color of its beak and legs.
It nests in colonies, often with cormorants or other egrets. It feeds mainly on small fish, but also on insects, frogs, mollusks, and similar animals.
