A Presentation of the New Television Project 7 Wonders of Azerbaijan

On May 28, a presentation of the new television project 7 Wonders of Azerbaijan took place in the Old City (Icherisheher), launched with the joint support of the IDEA Public Union and Nature and History Production.

The aim of the first project of its kind in Azerbaijan, 7 Wonders of Azerbaijan, is to foster a sense of patriotism in society, preserve the national-cultural and historical heritage, explore disputed historical facts of Azerbaijan against the backdrop of historical monuments of various epochs, and draw attention to the popularization, protection, and restoration of historical, cultural, and natural sites within our country.

Additionally, the 7 Wonders of Azerbaijan project aims to popularize historical, cultural, and natural treasures of Azerbaijan within and beyond the country's borders, stimulating the development of local and international tourism and infrastructure in these areas.

The event, attended by the Vice-President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, Leyla Aliyeva, founder and head of IDEA, along with public and political figures, representatives of foreign embassies, scientists, renowned cultural and artistic figures, was memorable for its intriguing moments. Special attention was drawn to the historical attributes used in decorating the specially prepared space reflecting the essence of the project, as well as the costumes embodying our spiritual values. The interior design elements, including the fortress layout and large rocky stones depicting people, created a unique atmosphere, transporting attendees back in time.

Speakers at the event, including the head of Nature and History Production, Hikmet Nagdaliyev, Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources Mukhtar Babayev, Deputy Minister of Culture Sevda Mammadaliyeva, Director of the Institute of History of the National Academy of Sciences, Academician Yagub Mahmudov, and Chairman of the State Tourism Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Fuad Nagiyev, shared their opinions on the project.
