Green Economy Youth Camp was held

On 2-3 August,  the Ministry of Youth and Sport of the Republic of Azerbaijan, IDEA campaign and Icheri Sheher State Historical-Architectural Museum organized Green Economy Camp at Gala State Historical Ethnography Reserve.

Within the two-days' Camp, leading experts held trainings on "Waste management", "Nature and Efficient Technology" and "Green marketing".

Besides preparing draft proposals on environmental protection and green economy, taking part diverse kind of workshops, participants also toured the SOCAR Ecological Park and Gala State Historical Ethnography Reserve.

The project aimed to raise the awareness on environmental protection, ecological benefits of applying non-waste and low-waste technologies and study the role of youth in reducing harmful effects of economic development to environment.
