IDEA Birdhouse Design Project

As a result of anthropogenic processes occurring in the modern world, the rapid increase in global environmental problems on our planet causes the degradation of ecosystems and the destruction of plant and animal species. Such a rapid decline in biological diversity does not spare bird species, as well as all components of nature.

As you know, the IDEA campaign announced a competition called “Birdhouse Design” on the occasion of International Migratory Bird Day in May 2012 with the aim of increasing the public role in the protection of migratory birds and creating a special caring attitude of people towards nature. A special jury was organized to evaluate more than 100 works submitted to the competition, and the work of 26-year-old Tatiana Burdyugina from Russia, which stands out both environmentally and visually, was determined by the jury to win first place.
It should be noted that the birdhouses that will be prepared according to the selected project will be installed in the cities of Vilnius, Moscow and London, including Baku, by mobile volunteer groups of the IDEA campaign with the aim of providing safe birdhouses for migratory birds in various parks and parks. sleeping areas.

It should be noted that the IDEA campaign is the only partner of the International Migratory Bird Campaign in the South Caucasus and was launched on July 12, 2011 by the Vice President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, Leyla Aliyeva.
