The project titled “Participation of Youth in the Ecological Assessment of Azerbaijan’s Liberated Territories”

Under the initiative of Leyla Aliyeva, Vice President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and founder and head of the IDEA Public Union, a project titled “Youth Participation in the Ecological Assessment of Azerbaijan’s Territories Liberated from Occupation” is being launched.
According to the nationwide activity program, the environmental damage caused by Armenia’s 30-year occupation will be investigated, international experience for the restoration of these areas will be studied, and methodologies and guidelines will be developed to measure the scale of ecological damage.
Selected youth participants will take part in training sessions to apply these methodologies and guidelines. They will become acquainted with the actual ecological conditions of the liberated territories and, through various means, inform local and international communities about the committed ecocide facts.
As a result of this project, implemented by the IDEA Public Union, the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources, and the Azerbaijan Youth Foundation, the ecological status of the liberated territories will be assessed with the participation of young people.
To take advantage of this unique opportunity, young people with education and experience in the field of environment can apply to the IDEA Public Union.
