Recycling Points

For years IDEA has been promoting recycling and awareness on proper waste management through public education campaigns and mass waste collection events. 

In early 2017, IDEA kicked off a recycling program, whereby specially designed green (paper) and blue (plastic) waste bins were placed in up to a hundred of schools, universities and office buildings in Baku. Around 3000 tons of paper and 320 tons of plastic waste has so far been recycled as a result of joint efforts by IDEA and Azersun Holding. 

IDEA is steadfastly expanding the program and involving more students, teachers, school staff and different communities in the recycling process, aiming to both increase the volumes of the collected waste and attract wider attention to the importance of recycling and waste management.
