“Green Economy” ecological camp

The Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the “Icherisheher” State Historical-Architectural Reserve, with the support of the IDEA (International Dialogue for Environmental Action) campaign and the organization of the “İRƏLİ” Public Union, will hold the “Green Economy” ecological camp on August 2–3, 2013, at the “Gala” State Historical Ethnography Reserve.

During the two-day project, participants will receive training from leading experts on the topics of “Nature and Efficient Technology,” “Waste Management,” and “Green Marketing.”

At the same time, project participants will prepare project proposals on environmental protection and green economy.

An excursion for young participants to the SOCAR Ecology Park and the “Gala” State Historical Ethnography Reserve will also be organized.

It should be noted that the main purpose of the “Green Economy” ecological camp is to raise public awareness about environmental improvement and protection, increase understanding of the ecological benefits of using zero-waste and low-waste technologies, and explore the role of young people in reducing the harmful environmental impacts of economic development.
