Heydar Aliyev Foundation and IDEA Public Union has started a new program named “No tree cutting!” in order to confront illegal cutting of trees and wildlife trafficking, and empower socio-ecological control among people in Azerbaijan. A hotline called “First aid to the nature” and mobile group have been created within the program.

The citizens can reach IDEA with their complains on illegal tree felling and wildlife trafficking cases that they witness in the country. The mobile group will start investigations upon the complains, gather the proofs, photo and video materials. After the investigation is over, the gathered materials and proofs will be sent to the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Azerbaijan to take necessary measures. IDEA will keep the process of measurement by the Ministry, under its control.
