IDEA Public Union, founded by Vice-President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Leyla Aliyeva, became a member of International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN).
Being a member of IUCN, IDEA gets the opportunity to expand the perspectives in cooperation with the World's leading international organizations working in the field of environment, more closely participate in global-level ecological projects, and influence the process of decision-making in international level.
IDEA and IUCN have started cooperation since the beginning of 2014, and implemented a number of successful projects.
IUCN, which was founded in 1948, is the largest and oldest professional global conservation network of our time.
The organization has more than 1,200 member organizations including 200+ government and 900+ non-government organizations. IUCN brings together around 11000 scientists and experts from 160 different countries.
