On 18 July 2015, in the framework of the project jointly carried out by IDEA Public Union and “Sevimli Bala” entitled “Ecological laboratory for children”, another training session was held for children aged 5-8 at the Resource Center located at the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, which focused on water and its significance.

During the session, children learned about the characteristics of water, its importance for the Earth and how essential it is for the human body and wildlife in general. The young ecologists got familiarized with ways of preserving water and keeping it clean. 

In addition, the young nature-lovers participated in entertaining knowledge contests, engaged in several experiments and learned how to make jellyfish in glass containers, and rainbows and lava lamps inside cups. Afterwards, the participants of the Laboratory spent a fun day making soap bubbles in the open air.

Besides offering an interesting and fun day for children, the July laboratory session, which is the seventh such event organized jointly by IDEA Public Union and “Sevimli Bala”, has helped the kids to comprehend water’s role in human existence and its importance for the Planet.
