The Joint Project of 3D Graffiti by IDEA and YARAT Modern Art Space
25.09.2014The joint project of 3D graffiti by IDEA and YARAT Modern Art Space took place in one of the central parks of Baku - Dede Gorgud Park. Graffiti created within the project aims to inform the public about environmental issues through art and draw attention to these problems. As a promotion of a new direction of activity for young artists, the first work on the surface of graffiti in Azerbaijan reflects animals included in the "Big Five of the Caucasus" and the importance of their protection. It is worth noting that the work exhibited in Dede Gorgud Park was created in the 3D format by invited graffiti artists from England - Edward Shiron, James Titchner, and Julian Fettin. Alongside our international guests, handmade works of our graffiti artists from Azerbaijan are exhibited here, reflecting the environmental problems of the Caspian Sea and the "No Tree Felling" program launched jointly by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and IDEA.
You can get a closer look at the 3D graffiti for 6 months.
