Aghsu district joined the first nationwide Green Marathon that was launched on 5th of November 2014.

On November 5-7, during daily tree planting actions, held in the scope of “First Green Marathon” with the organization of Executive Body of Agsu city, 1700 trees were planted, including 850 trees in Heydar Aliyev Park, 220 trees in M.A.Rasulzade street, 630 trees on the edge of Baku-Shamakhi-Yevlakh highway.
On November 11, during tree planting actions, held in the scope of “First Green Marathon” with the organization of Executive Body of Agsu city, on the edge of Baku-Shamakhi-Yevlakh highway 450 trees were planted.
On November 12, during tree planting actions, held in the scope of “First Green Marathon” with the organization of Executive Body of Agsu city, 800 trees were planted, including 80 trees in Heydar Aliyev Park, 300 trees in the area of administrative buildings of Executive bodies, municipals and schoolyards in the village settlements, 420 on the edge of Baku-Shamakhi-Yevlakh highway.
On November 13, during tree planting actions, held in the scope of “First Green Marathon” with the organization of Executive Body of Agsu city, 450 trees were planted, including 120 trees on the edge of Baku-Shamakhi-Yevlakh highway, 60 trees in Heydar Aliyev Park, 270 trees in the area of administrative buildings of Executive bodies, municipals and schoolyards in the village settlements.
On November 14, during tree planting actions, held in the scope of “First Green Marathon” with the organization of Executive Body of Agsu city, 500 trees were planted, including 80 trees on the edge of Baku-Shamakhi-Yevlakh highway, 20 trees in Heydar Aliyev Park, 400 trees in the area of administrative buildings of Executive bodies, municipals and schoolyards in the village settlements.
On November 15, during tree planting actions, held in the scope of “First Green Marathon” with the organization of Executive Body of Agsu city, 300 trees were planted, including 20 trees on the edge of Baku-Shamakhi-Yevlakh highway, 20 trees in the Vidadi street, 260 trees in the area of administrative buildings of Executive bodies, municipals and schoolyards in the village settlements.
On November 17, during tree planting action 800 trees were planted, including 55 trees on the edge of Baku-Shamakhi-Yevlakh highway, 60 trees in the Culture and Recreation Park, 400 trees in the area of administrative buildings of Executive bodies, municipals and schoolyards in the village settlements, 210 trees on the Agsu-Chaparli-Bagirli highway, 75 trees in the U.Hadjibayov street.
On November 19, during tree the next tree planting action, 500 trees were planted, including 25 trees on the edge of Baku-Shamakhi-Yevlakh highway, 80 trees in Heydar Aliyev Park, 20 trees in the Vidadi street, 70 trees in the area of administrative buildings of Executive bodies, municipals and schoolyards in the village settlements, 240 trees on the Agsu-Chaparli-Bagirli highway, 85 trees on the Agsu-Kurdamir highway.
On November 20, during tree planting actions, held in the scope of “First Green Marathon” with the organization of Executive Body of Agsu city, 300 trees were planted, including 120 trees in the area of administrative buildings of Executive bodies, municipals and schoolyards in the village settlements, 115 trees on the Agsu-Chaparli-Bagirli highway, 65 trees on the Agsu-Kurdamir highway.
On November 21, during tree planting actions, held in the scope of “First Green Marathon” with the organization of Executive Body of Agsu city, 300 trees were planted, including 120 trees in the area of administrative buildings of Executive bodies, municipals and schoolyards in the village settlements, 115 trees on the Agsu-Chaparli-Bagirli highway, 65 trees on the Agsu-Kurdamir highway.
On November 25, during tree planting actions, held in the scope of “First Green Marathon” with the organization of Executive Body of Agsu city, 300 trees were planted, including 200 trees in the area of administrative buildings of Executive bodies, municipals and schoolyards in the village settlements, 100 trees on the Baku-Shamakhi-Yevlakh highway.
On November 26, during tree planting action, 530 trees were planted, including 20 trees in Heydar Aliyev park, 60 trees in Heydar Aliyev Park, 10 trees in the Vidadi street, 15 trees Culture and Recreation Park, 225 trees in the area of administrative buildings of Executive bodies, municipals and schoolyards in the village settlements, 200 trees on Baku-Shamakhi-Yevlakh highway.
On November 27, during tree planting action, 700 trees were planted, including 100 trees on Baku-Shamakhi-Yevlakh highway, 425 trees in the area of administrative buildings of Executive bodies, municipals and schoolyards in the village settlements, 175 trees on Agsu-Kurdamir highway.
On November 28, during tree planting action, 500 trees were planted, including, 200 trees in the area of administrative buildings of Executive bodies, municipals and schoolyards in the village settlements, 50 trees on Agsu-Chaparli-Bagirli highway, 50 trees on Agsu-Kurdamir highway, 200 trees on Baku-Shamakhi-Yevlakh highway.
Within "Green Marathon" 9180 trees, including Sycamore, olive, Eldar pine, cypress, ash, acacia, birch etc. were planted in Aghsu district, between 11 March and 15 April.
