Baku city joined the first nationwide Green Marathon project that was launched on 5th of November 2014.

From November 1st to November 6th, 25 units of buksus, 2400 units of various flowers and lawn have been planted around «Binegedi Mosque». 16 pieces of Leandra have been planted around main entrance door of the school No. 246. At Svetlana Mamedova 205 A street of 6th micro district, 6 Leandra , 500 different rose bushes, 1 klumba, as well as 34 units of various trees were planted.
On November 15, at Khojasan settlement of Binegedi district, 1000 olive and «Leylandra» pine tree was planted by Binegedi EP and «Azersun Holding» around the Baku branch of Lomonosov Moscow State University.

100 sycamore tree planted in 20 January Street at Nasimi district on November 8, within «Green Marathon» by members of the Executive Committee of the District.
100 Kiparis trees were planted in «January 20» street of Nasimi district within «Green Marathon» by members of state government at November 11.
Tree Planting action was held at intersection of Vagif avenue and Xan Shushinskiy street of Nasimi district on November 12 by Executive power of the district. 60 trees were planted during the campaign within «Green Marathon» project.

2000 trees were planted and 3000sq2 area was covered with grass on November 5-8 in Qaradagh district within «Green Marathon» project. Trees were planted on the left and right side of the Gobustan National Historical Reserve Road, as well as in front of the logo with the word Gobustan settlement.
In the scope of "Green Marathon" 1000 Leylandii trees were planted in at the intersection of streets of Academican H. Aliyev and Ashiq Molla Cuma, in the Narimanov district, Baku, in March 15, 2015.

In the scope of "Green Marathon" 7500 eldar pines were planted along the S. Vurgun street, on the side of the highway (near the helipad and area for High-Tech Park) in Pirallahi region, in March 18-27.
