Guba district joined the first nationwide Green Marathon that was launched on 5th of November 2014.

On November 5-29, regularly during daily tree planting actions, held in the scope of “First Green Marathon” with the organization of Executive Body of Guba district, generally 310 trees were planted in Guba district Agbil village in front of the high school building and in the school yard, on the edge of Baku-Guba highway in Talabigishlag, of Guba-Gusar highway in Khudjbala village, of Guba-Khachmaz highway in Zardab settlement.
Within "Green Marathon" 2260 trees were planted in Guba district, between 13 March and 30 March.
