Jabrail district joined the first nationwide Green Marathon that was launched on 5th of November 2014.

On November 5-28, during daily tree planting actions held in the framework of “First Green Marathon” with the organization of Executive Body of Djabrail district, generally 2205 trees, including plane, cypress, willow, palm, elm, lugustrum, fir, Eldar pine, Tuya, maple and other species were planted in the area of settlements of Bilasuvar district, on the edge of of highway connecting settlements(0.5th km), along entrance road to settlements (1km).
Within "Green Marathon" 570 trees, including willow, birch, poplar etc. were planted in Jabrail district, between 31 March and 13 April.
