Yevlakh city joined the first nationwide Green Marathon project that was launched on 5th of November 2014.

On November 8, in the framework of “First Green Marathon”, generally 2165 trees were planted in Yevlakh city, 290-292th km of Baku-Qazakh motorway, “Karvan” stadium, 2-3th km of Yevlakh-Khojali-Lachin motorway that pass through Yevlakh, Nizami avenue, in front of the “Azertoxum”, on the way to the Yevlakh aeroport in Yevlakh.
On November 11, with the organization of Executive Body of Yevlakh city, in the framework of “First Green Marathon”, generally 950 trees were planted in 290,293th km of Baku-Qazakh motorway that pass through Yevlakh city and 3th km of Yevlakh-Khojali-Lachin motorway that pass through Yevlakh.
On November 12, with the organization of Executive Body of Yevlakh city, in the scope of “First Green Marathon”, 200 trees were planted in Yevlakh city, Nizami avenue.
On November 13, with the organization of Executive Body of Yevlakh city, in the scope of “First Green Marathon”, 150 trees were planted in 293th km of Baku-Qazakh motorway.
On November 14, with the organization of Executive Body of Yevlakh city, in the scope of “First Green Marathon”, 200 trees were planted in 293th km of Baku-Qazakh motorway that pass through Yevlakh city.
On November 17-18, with the organization of Executive Body of Yevlakh city, in the scope of “First Green Marathon”, 900 trees were planted in the 3th km of Yevlakh-Khojali-Lachin motorway.
On November 21, with the organization of Executive Body of Yevlakh city, in the scope of “First Green Marathon”, 450 trees were planted in the 23th km of Yevlakh-Khojali-Lachin motorway in the territory of Yevlakh .
Within "Green Marathon" 3445 trees, including Sycamore, Eldar pine etc. were planted in Yevlakh district, on 17,18 March.
Within "Green Marathon" 59473 trees, including Sycamore, olive, Eldar pine, cypress, ash, acacia, birch etc. were planted in Yevlakh district, between 29 March and 22 April.
