Gazakh district joined the first nationwide Green Marathon project that was launched on 5th of November 2014.

On November 5-12, with the organization of Executive Body of Qazakh district, in the framework of “First Green Marathon”, generally 8000 trees were planted, including 1000 plane trees and 1000 cypress trees in the territory of Qazakh city, 2000 Eldar pines and 2500 cherry trees, 500 apricot trees, 1000 cypress in alongside of the Qazakh-Siniq Korpu highway.
On November 13, with the organization of Executive Body of Qazakh district, in the framework of “First Green Marathon”, generally 1000 trees including 500 Eldar pines and 500 cypress trees were planted in the territory of Qazakh city.
On November 15, with the organization of Executive Body of Qazakh district, in the framework of “First Green Marathon”, generally 6000 trees including 2000 cypress trees, 1000 apricot trees, 3000 cherry trees were planted in alongside of Qazakh-Siniq Korpu motorway (474-518 km).
On November 29, with the organization of Executive Body of Qazakh district, in the framework of “First Green Marathon”, generally 3000 trees were planted, including 1000 cherry trees in the village territory, 1000 abricot trees and 1000 cherry trees in alongside of the highway in the territory of Qazakh district.
Within "Green Marathon" 16000 trees, including Eldar pine, cypress, fruit trees etc. were planted in Gazakh district, between 10 March and 04 April.
